Indonesia in Action Day
Indonesia in Action Day aims to bring Indonesian language students from multiple schools to the University with the ultimate purpose of encouraging lifelong interest in Indonesia and to strengthen the learning of Indonesian in NSW.
This year’s event will have multiple rounds of fun activities and some presentations aimed at increasing student engagement and exposure to Indonesian language and culture.
Students will also have the opportunity to hear from current University of Sydney students and graduates who have studied Indonesian about their experiences, insights, and how Indonesian has boosted their career opportunities.
There will also be activities aimed at encouraging students to practise their Bahasa Indonesia in simulated settings. The day will also bring together those involved in spreading Indonesian culture and interest at the grassroots level, including teachers and volunteers from Australia Indonesia Youth Association (AIYA), Australia Indonesia Association, Balai Bahasa dan Budaya Indonesia (BBBI) – NSW, Indonesia Diaspora Network NSW and Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan) students.
